Rostering and timesheets for pest control teams.
Your technicians spend the day moving between homes, restaurants, warehouses and strata buildings. Crewline gives each visit a shift, a treatment checklist and a GPS-checked clock-in, and lets the client sign on the technician’s phone before they leave.
Sound familiar?
Running pest control technicians without the ring-around.
BeforeA customer says nobody turned up for the quarterly treatment.
With CrewlineThe clock-in is checked against the property’s zone, and the timesheet shows when the technician arrived and left.
BeforePaper service sheets come back days later, if they come back at all.
With CrewlineThe treatment checklist is ticked on the phone during the visit, and the client signs at clock-out.
BeforeA last-minute job comes in and you ring around to find someone free.
With CrewlinePost it as an open shift. Your technicians see it in the app, ask to take it, and you approve one person.
Features
How Crewline works for pest control technicians.
Treatment visit checklist
Inspect property, apply treatment, record chemicals used, brief the client. Edit it per site.
Client sign-off
Turn on sign-off for a site and the client signs on the technician’s phone at clock-out. Unsigned visits are flagged.
Clock-in at the property
New sites start with a 150 metre clock-in zone, adjustable per site, with clock-ins outside it flagged for review or refused.
Open shifts for extra jobs
Leave a visit unassigned and publish it. Technicians ask to take it and you pick who goes.
Works without signal
Clock-ins in roof spaces, basements and rural properties save on the phone and sync when signal returns.
Hours to payroll
Approve timesheets, then export a payroll-ready CSV with hours for each pay category.
Checklists
Starter checklists, ready to edit.
Load a template onto any site, change it to suit, and keep up to 40 items. Staff tick items on their phone during the shift.
Treatment visit
- Inspect property
- Apply treatment
- Record chemicals used
- Brief the client
Pay and awards
Your award’s rates, applied to every hour.
Which award applies depends on the work your technicians do, and some businesses have an enterprise agreement; check with Fair Work. Crewline doesn’t include a pest control template, so start from the simple pay rules and enter the rates that apply to your staff.
Time-based rates (weekends, public holidays, overtime, early and late work) are applied for you. Allowances aren’t calculated, so add those in your payroll system.
- Rates for casual, part-time and full-time staff
- Early, late and overnight shift rates
- Saturday, Sunday and public holiday rates
- Overtime by the day, the week or both
- Public holidays for each site’s state
- Pay shown as an estimate until you confirm the rates
FAQ
Pest control questions, answered.
More on clock-in privacy, payroll export and pricing in the main FAQ.
Does Crewline keep chemical use records or treatment reports?
No. The checklist confirms the technician recorded the chemicals used, but the record itself belongs in the system your state’s rules require. Crewline handles rostering, clock-in, timesheets, checklists, chat and pay rates.
Can the client sign off the visit?
Yes. Turn on sign-off for a site and the client signs on the technician’s phone at clock-out. Visits finished without a signature are flagged on the timesheet.
Can technicians add photos of what they found?
Yes. They can add a note and up to six photos at clock-out, and share the note to the site chat so the next technician on that property sees it.
