Rostering and timesheets for event staffing.

Every event brings a new venue, a new call time and a new mix of casuals. Crewline lets you set up the venue, fill the roster, brief everyone in one chat and see who’s arrived.

Sound familiar?

Running event staff without the ring-around.

  • BeforeFilling 40 shifts means 40 text messages and a spreadsheet of replies.

With CrewlinePost open shifts. Staff ask to take them in the app and you pick who gets each one.

  • BeforeThe briefing is lost in a group chat that still has last month’s event in it.

With CrewlineEach venue gets its own chat with the people rostered there. Ask everyone to tap “Got it” on the briefing.

  • BeforeThe sign-in sheet at the gate goes missing by the end of the night.

With CrewlineStaff clock in on their phone inside the venue’s zone, and the live board shows who’s arrived.

Features

How Crewline works for event staff.

  • Open shifts

Leave a shift unassigned and publish it. Your team can ask to take it, and you approve one person.

  • Venues in a minute

Add a venue from its address. Event sites start with a 300 metre clock-in zone, sized for big grounds.

  • Briefings that get read

Post to the venue chat or an announcement to everyone, and ask staff to tap “Got it”.

  • Event shift checklist

Report to the supervisor, uniform and ID checked, briefing attended: ticked on the phone.

  • Casual pay rules

Casual loading, weekend, public holiday and overtime rates are applied to every timesheet from the rules you set.

  • One export after the event

Approve hours in bulk when nothing needs checking, then export a payroll-ready CSV.

Checklists

Starter checklists, ready to edit.

Load a template onto any site, change it to suit, and keep up to 40 items. Staff tick items on their phone during the shift.

Pay and awards

Your award’s rates, applied to every hour.

Which award applies depends on the work your staff do, and some businesses have an enterprise agreement. Crewline doesn’t include an events template, so start from the simple pay rules and enter the rates from the Fair Work pay guide for your award.

Time-based rates (casual loading, weekends, public holidays, overtime, early and late work) are applied for you. Allowances aren’t calculated.
